Horizon nature and adventures was founded in July 1994, during which time we have expanded and perfected our operations, products and services, consolidating our position in the active tourism market. The most important factor in our success has been our commitment to offering only the safest and highest quality programs that allow the participants to relax and enjoy themselves. All of our activities are done in small groups, additional instructors being added as needed if the group is larger, this makes for more one-on-one instruction and interaction, and more personalized service.

In September of 2002, Royal decree number 20/2001 was passed into law. Regulating the practice of “adventure sports and activities.” Any company wishing to offer or promote these activities must be registered with the government of Andalusia and accredited by the authorities with the required insurance cover, licensed staff who possess the requisite professional qualifications,
and technical supervision. In our quest to offer only the highest quality programs for our clients and complying with all regulatory requirements, we were the very first organization in the province to achieve these qualifications and were assigned registration number AT/CA/00001.

In 2003 we were granted a trademark by the Andalusia regional government as the "Parque Natural de Andalucía" (Andalusia Nature Park) after an exhaustive audit process that confirmed our quality standards and environmental sustainability initiatives.
