 An activity that can be enjoyed by people of all ages and levels of fitness. Long or short hikes, with varying degrees of difficulty are a magnificent opportunity for you to enjoy the rich natural surroundings far removed from the stress of urban life. The Grazalema Nature park off a wide range of walks, just choose the one that best meets your needs and capabilities.
This is probably the most emblematic of the trails through the nature park. The Pinsapar is a type of evergreen found only here and in the Sierra de las Nieves. The trail takes us deep into a magical forest that will surprise you with its majesty and uniqueness. This place is unique in the province, with scenery not to be found elsewhere in Cadiz.
DURATION: This trek can be accomplished in 4 or 6 hours. The difference is, in the six-hour trek, we cross the entire forest to Benamahoma, and in the four-hour version, we enter the forest and retrace our path back to the starting point.

This route follows a deep canyon carved out of the mountain by thousands of years. Besides the natural beauty of the trek, we find two special points of interest. First, the Mirador de los Buitres where we find over 60 pairs of roosting vultures, and the Cueva de la Ermita full of stalagmites and stalgtites that gives the appearance of a cathedral.

At 1,654 m. this is the highest point in the province of Cadiz. An incredible view, that stretches to the Straits of Gibraltar, this also excellent for viewing local mountain goats.

This trek is also inside the Nature reserve and takes us to the base of the Pinsapar forest. This easy trek along forest trails is accessible to almost anyone who would like to enjoy the natural beauty of the park.

This trek takes us to the Llano del Endrinal at the base of the Simancón and El Reloj, the tallest mountains in the province, after the Torreón. The action of the Karsk has shaped the entire valley and is inhabited by the local mountain goats that can be observed on the cliffs and high rocks above.

This beautiful trek takes us among several different eco-systems. Pine forest, rocky karsks, and humid forest. The rock forms in this area are truly amazing, taking on the most peculiar shapes.

In this case, it is an easy gentle trek following the Truchero River under the pleasant forest canopy along its banks. Along the way we find old mills, and the “fábrica de luz” (light factory, electric generator) that made use of this river in the past.
