The Cádiz coast is an ideal place to enjoy sailing and other nautical activities. We offer several options for your day on the high seas.
The objective here is to let the participants get their first sailing experience in a controlled and pleasant situation.
They will learn about boat handling under moderate winds and learn a bit of navigation and gain some general nautical knowledge.
We start at the Royal yacht club in El Puerto de Santa Maria, where basic techniques for sailing will be explained. We then set sail from the mouth of the Gaudalete River out into the Bay of Cádiz for some nautical exploration of this wonderful natural setting.
The objective here is to let the participants get their first sailing experience in a controlled and pleasant situation. They will learn about boat handling under moderate winds and learn a bit of navigation and gain some general nautical knowledge. Participants will also practice teamwork and team building and experience a certain competitive atmosphere between groups.
The boats will be national level racing yachts like those used in the King’s Cup, Osborne Sailing week and the Prince of Asturias Trophy. The boats are between 33 ´and 45 ´feet in length.
The crews will be formed by participants accompanied by qualified Captains and crew members from the Cutty Sark racing yacht, winners of the King’s cup, Spanish match race, and Spanish national champions in 1998 and 99, Sailing grand slam champions in 1998 and winners of the Osborne Sailing week competition the last four years running.

This activity consists of about an hour of cruising to reach the fishing grounds, and then either bottom fish, or go trolling.
The catch will depend upon the method, but you can expect Marlin, Tuna, sea bream (snapper) and croaker etc.
We start by explaining the use of all of the equipment and techniques the teams will need along with some skill and luck to land their catch. The duration of the trip is always decided by the participants, and is only held in daylight and in good conditions.
